Beginning Adult Sweep Rowing Class Fall 2015
12 Hours, 6 classes. Fee $230
Dates - Sept 26/27, Oct 3/4, 10/11.
Times - 6:30am - 8:30am
This course introduces sweep (team boat) technique, terminology, and water safety using a training barge, then moving quickly into the racing 8 man shells.
What to wear: Rowing has many moving parts. Appropriate rowing attire includes non baggy clothing, so items do not get caught in the boat parts:)
Class size:min : 6, max 10.

Fee: $230; Checks are made out to San Diego Rowing Club and due the first Sunday of class.

This course introduces sculling technique, terminology, and water safety using recreational singles. Small class size ensures individual attention and rapid progression. Students successfully completing this course are qualified to join the rowing club.
What to wear: Rowing has many moving parts. Appropriate rowing attire includes snug fitting cloths, so that they do not get caught in the rigging.
Class minimum: 3 (maximum 5)
Fee: $230, $50 deposit will reserve your place. Please send check payable to SDRC:
