SDRC Varsity Summer Training
Our varsity summer training program offers experienced competitive rowers an opportunity to build skill and fitness in preparation for the following season. We offer 6 weeks of training with a mix of on-the-water practices and land conditioning. Our summer training is open to any rower (from SDRC or other clubs) that has at least 1 year of competitive racing experience.
Since athletes have busy summer schedules, we offer practices in week-long blocks, and you can choose as many weeks as work for your schedule. Each week has 7 practices available, and the cost is $125 per week. The 2026 summer schedule is below. Generally speaking, morning practices will be on the water and afternoon practices will be land conditioning.
