Parking can be a challenge in the beach area, especially during the summer months, major holidays, and on weekends when the weather is nice. There are 176 parking spaces on El Carmel Pl, and only those in our cul-de-sac are subject to closure between 2am and 4am. We are fortunate that there is plentiful free parking within a 5 to 10 minute walk of the boathouse.

Free parking is available at Santa Clara Point (88 + 155 spaces), on West Mission Bay drive across from the Bahia (454 spaces) and near Belmont Park (386 + 434 spaces). The Mission Bay Aquatic Center (MBAC) has an excellent guide to parking on their website.

SDRC recommends that you arrive early or arrange a carpool during crowded spring and summer months. Parking is also highly impacted in the weeks prior to the San Diego Crew Classic when SDRC Masters, Juniors, and the collegiate programs are on the water.
